Just wanted to share a picture of miss Addy! She's getting too big too fast! Here she is rockin' her first pair of flip flops! We've bought two more pairs since this picture since she loves them so much!

I'm still here.........

I haven't posted in what seems like an eternity, for good reason though. Our computer caught some nasty virus and crashed on us, and we just haven't had the time to go find a new computer. We could repair the damaged one, but I'd prefer a new one and just start all over. So until then, I probably won't be posting very often. We also have been having terrible plumbing problems. We are having to replace the main line the runs in the backyard so we have it all dug up and a huge mess. Our toilet in our bathroom also overflowed and completely flooded my bedroom, and soaked through the walls. Blackmon Mooring had to come out and rip up our carpet, put holes in the wall, and place several fans throughout the bedroom, and bathrooms to dry everything. It has just been TERRIBLE! BUT we do get new carpet in the bedroom, which is long overdue, so I am thrilled! That's what the Martin Household has been like these past few weeks.
In other news, I am so excited for this next weekend. Bobby and I are going on a Couples/Marriage retreat with our Church to the Fort Davis Mountains. We will be staying at the Indian Lodge and are going to have tons of fun. We will leave Friday evening and come back Sunday afternoon. Saturday night they are having a "60's Beach Theme" Party and it's going to be a great time for fellowship and getting to know other couples! I am so excited. I am also very excited to report that I am going to be practicing and singing a song with a wonderful lady Karen, and my husbands best friend Chad for the next few weeks and will preform it for the church. I've always wanted to get involved and I feel this couldn't be a better way to do so!
The kids are doing absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share, but hopefully I can get some uploaded soon! Addy is getting so big!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE clearance! Target is having a 75% off sale on Christmas items, and let's just say I have enough stuff to create a winter wonderland. Hubby thinks I went a little overboard but it's stuff I won't have to purchase next year at full price, and our house will be so cute and seasonal! I also picked up a few things at Hobby Lobby and Walmart too! YAY.
We had our very first family picture done yesterday and I was actually pleased with them. Trying to get 5 kids to all look decent in a picture is a huge chore! There were two (different poses) that I really like and then a funny one that I got as well. The photographer thought there were a few that were just hilarious and she asked if she could display one in the store. We are all peeking out from shutter looking doors and I am trying to catch Addy (who is running off) and the rest of the kids have the funniest looks on their faces. It was priceless! They won't be ready until Jan 22nd so I will post the pics then! Hope everyone had a wonderful start to a new year! God Bless!
